In order to connect to an OpenHAB Server the App needs the following data:
The App will try the provided URLs and (if configured) establish a personal VPN connection on demand depending on the reachability of your server from the current network environment of the mobile device.
All this configuration data described above is only stored locally on your iOS Device in the User Defaults of our ourSmartHS App.
Furthermore the data is only used to connect to your OpenHAB servers or the demo server of the OpenHAB Foundation at https://demo.openhab.org:8443 (if you have enabled the demo mode)
or to establish a personal VPN connection.
This configuration data is never transferred to other servers.
The URL of the OpenHAB demo server is preconfigured in the App and only used if you enable the demo mode in the App settings.
